Tématem bakalářské práce je onemocnění zvané porfyrie, které se vyznačuje poruchou biosyntézy hemu. První část bakalářské práce je zaměřena na přiblížení problematiky týkající se této nemoci. Tato část je věnována historii, popsání biosyntézy hemu a její poruchy, a dále pravděpodobnému vzniku a vývoji vztahu mezi onemocněním a mýtech o upírech. V následujícím oddílu práce jsou charakterizovány jednotlivé typy porfyrií. Závěr práce se věnuje diagnostice a léčbě porfyrií. |

The theme of the thesis is the disease called porphyria, which is characterized by impaired heme biosynthesis. The first part of this thesis is focused on the outlining the issues related to the disease. This part is dedicated not only to the history and the description of the biosynthesis of heme and its disorders but also to its probable origin and the evolution of relations between the disease and myths about vampires. In the following part of the thesis the individual types of porphyria are described. The conclusion deals with the diagnosis and the treatment of porphyria. |
