Abstrakt:
The co-coagglomeration has been used to prepare co-mixed crystals of TATB with RDX, HMX, BCHMX and CL-20; this method has shown advanced improvements in the properties of these energetic materials. There are molecular rearrangements that have been observed employing through characterization by Raman, FTIR, and PXRD methods. The significant stretching vibrations indicated that the resultant co-agglomerates (CACs) are cocrystals (CCs)where HMX is shown in its δ-modification and CL-20 in its β-modification. The differential thermal analysis shows that the stability of these CCs has been practically the same as the pure nitramine coformers forms of these energetic materials. The densities of the prepared CACs are higher than those of the pure nitramines used. Impact sensitivities of these mixed crystals are significantly reduced - TATB is a very good phlegmatizer. A close directly-proportional linear relationship is specified between the mentioned sensitivity data and the combustion heats of the CACs studied.
