Práce pojednává o lidských právech v myšlenkách dvou filosofek 20. století Hannah Arendtové a Boženy Komárkové. Hlavními díly, z nichž práce bude vycházet, jsou O revoluci a Původ a význam lidských práv. První kapitola práce se zabývá tím, jak obě myslitelky chápou a definují pojem revoluce a jak charakterizují svobodu, jež je považována za ústřední pojem lidských práv. Druhá kapitola je věnována revolucím 18. století, tj. Americké a Francouzské. Obě autorky je považují za důležitý milník, který vedl k utváření ústav a deklarování lidských práv. Třetí kapitola pojednává o původu lidských práv v transcendenci a především o společných rysech Platóna a Augustina. Závěr práce je věnován hlavně lidským právům v ideologiích 20. století se zaměřením na totalitarismus. |

This thesis deals with human rights in thoughts of two philosophers of the 20th century - Hannah Arendt and Božena Komárková. Major works which thesis will be based on are On Revolution and The Origin and Meaning of Human Rights. The first chapter concentrates on how both thinkers understand and define the concept of revolution and how they characterize liberty which is considered as the central concept of human rights. The second chapter is devoted to revolutions of the 18th century, i.e. The American Revolution and The French Revolution. Both authoresses consider them as an important mile-post which led to the formation of the constitution and declaring human rights. The third chapter deals with the origin of human rights in transcendence, and especially with common features of Plato and Augustine. The conclusion of this thesis is mainly dedicated to human rights in ideologies of the 20th century focusing on totalitarianism. |
