dc.description.abstract The article describes a hydraulic circuit arrangement of a forklift lifting mechanism. The forklift's travel and hydraulic mechanism is electrically driven. The source of electrical energy is an accu-battery. When lifting the load, the hydrostatic transducer driven by an electric motor works in the generator mode and consumes a part of the energy accumulated in the battery. When lowering the load, a part of the potential energy of the load lifted may be used for recharging the battery. The hydraulic circuit with energy recuperation requires that in lowering the load the converter works in the engine mode and drives the electric motor operating in the generator mode.
